Why BlueDuck?
The name comes from the Whio—a remarkable duck native to New Zealand, also known as the Blue Duck. It thrives in the most challenging environments: the rushing, turbulent rivers that would overwhelm other species.
The Whio doesn't fight the current. It adapts. It finds calm in the chaos, navigating complexity with an almost meditative grace. That philosophy resonated deeply during a transformative experience in New Zealand, where our cohort was named after this remarkable bird.
That spirit of composed adaptation became the foundation for everything we build.
